AI Citizenship

Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

English · Français

These terms are the agreement between you and Manera Technologies Inc. (Quebec, Canada) for your use of AI Citizenship. By creating an account or paying for a subscription, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

The most important thing on this page. AI Citizenship is a study aid. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Government of Canada, or any government or official body in any country. Nothing here is legal or immigration advice. We do not guarantee that using AI Citizenship will help you pass any examination. Always rely on the official study materials and government sources for your country.

1. What AI Citizenship is

AI Citizenship is a practice tool for citizenship and settlement tests. It gives you practice questions, explanations, chapter summaries, and an AI tutor, in several languages. Practice questions are written by us based on publicly available official study guides. They are not official examination content and no official examination questions are reproduced.

2. Your account

3. Free and paid plans

There is a free tier so you can judge the app before paying. It currently includes 8 practice questions per question bank, 2 chapter summaries, and 5 AI tutor messages per day. A paid subscription removes those limits.

We may change what the free tier includes. If we reduce it, that change applies to new sign-ups and to your account at your next renewal — never retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

4. Payment, renewal and tax

How it worksDetail
PlansMonthly or yearly. Both are subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel.
RenewalYour subscription renews at the end of each period at the price then shown for your plan, charged to the same payment method.
CurrencyYou are billed in the currency matched to the country whose test you are studying for. We support CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CHF, DKK, NOK, CZK and KRW.
PaymentsHandled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
TaxSales tax, VAT or GST/QST is calculated by Stripe Tax based on your location and shown before you pay.

5. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We offer a 14-day refund on a first paid period, and we will refund a renewal that caught you by surprise if you tell us within 14 days. The full detail, including how to ask, is on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page.

6. The AI tutor — what it can and cannot do

The tutor can be wrong. It is a language model. It can state something incorrectly, and it can cite the wrong page of an official guide. We run automated checks that catch some — not all — of these mistakes. Treat every answer as a study prompt, not as a fact. Before you rely on anything, check it against the official guide for your country.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

If you do any of these we may suspend or close your account. If we close a paid account for a breach that was not serious, we will refund the unused part of your current period.

8. Content and ownership

Official study guides, government texts and trademarks belong to their respective owners and governments; we claim no rights in them and reproduce them only as permitted. The practice questions we write, our explanations, translations, audio, design and software are ours. Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study — nothing more is granted.

9. Availability

We aim to keep AI Citizenship available but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. Your study progress and exam history are stored in your browser, not on our servers (see the Privacy Policy) — so clearing your browser data will erase them, and we cannot recover them for you. If you rely on that history, keep your own record.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, AI Citizenship is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for examination outcomes, immigration decisions, or any loss arising from your reliance on the app rather than on official sources.

Your consumer rights still apply. Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live — including, in Quebec, the Consumer Protection Act, and in the EU and UK, your statutory rights in a distance contract. Where a term here conflicts with such a right, that right wins.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will show it in the app or email you before it takes effect for your account. The "last updated" date at the top always tells you which version you are reading. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using AI Citizenship and delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works and what it removes. We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, and the courts of Quebec have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory consumer law of your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which we do not seek to take away.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms, refunds, or your account: [email protected]. We aim to reply within 3 business days.
